The Samek Art Museum at Bucknell University will host Art in Bars at the Pine Barn Inn in Danville, pairing artisanal beer from Covered Bridge Brewhaus with artworks from the Samek Art Museum’s collection on Tuesday, Oct. 3 beginning at 7 p.m.
Guests will sample a selection of beers while looking closely at visual art guided by Samek staff and brewer Eric Kuijpers. The guided conversation will get guests thinking about how art and beer relate to one another in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
Art in Bars provides the opportunity to see works not often on view while also presenting them in a unique context. This is the first time the Samek has partnered with Pine Barn Inn and Covered Bridge Brewhaus and the sixth iteration of Art in Bars.
