Nov. 8: Bucknell’s Baker to Present Women’s Work Lecture Series Talk

The Samek Art Museum will hold the second of three events related to its Women’s Work Lecture Series on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Iron Front Cowork Space, 434 Market St., in downtown Lewisburg. Ashli Baker, an assistant professor of classics and ancient Mediterranean studies at Bucknell, will present a free, public talk entitled “The Myth and Art of Cupid and Psyche.”

Baker is a philologist and teaches Latin and Greek language and literature, Roman history, the Augustan age and epic poetry.
