The Bucknell University theatre & dance program will present its Fall Dance Showcase on Friday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. in Harvey M. Powers Theatre in Coleman Hall. Tickets are $7 and all seats are reserved.
The performance will have you dancing out of the theatre with the showcase offering something for everyone. There’s a sampling of innovative pieces by student, faculty and guest choreographers in every dance genre imaginable — from modern, ballet and jazz, to tap, Irish step and hip-hop. With guest choreographers Lloyd Boyd III (Ailey II) and alumnus Christen Moribondo ’16 leading the charge, the Fall Dance Showcase features cutting edge and experimental choreography in a vast range of moods and styles that will leave you eager to take a dance class.
Tickets are available by calling 570-577-1000, online at bucknell.edu/boxoffice, or at any campus box office location. Online and box office purchases should be made by noon of Friday during performance weekends. Tickets may be purchased on the night of the performance at the Harvey M. Powers Theatre beginning one hour before the curtain rises.
