The Samek Art Museum will present its third and final Women’s Work Lecture Series talk on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 6 p.m. at the Iron Front Cowork Space, 434 Market St #301 in downtown Lewisburg. Stephanie Larson, a classics and ancient Mediterranean studies professor at Bucknell, will provide a free, public talk on a women’s work in ancient Greece.
Larson is a Greek cultural historian and philologist with special interests in the construction and maintenance of regional, ethnic and gender identities in Archaic and Classical Greece.
