Nov. 8: Bucknell’s Baker to Present Women’s Work Lecture Series Talk

The Samek Art Museum will hold the second of three events related to its Women's Work Lecture Series on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Iron Front Cowork Space, 434 Market St., in downtown Lewisburg. Ashli Baker, an assistant professor of classics and ancient Mediterranean studies at Bucknell, will present a free, public talk entitled "The Myth and Art of Cupid and Psyche."

Nov. 29: Bucknell Professor Stephanie Larson to Present Final ‘Women’s Work’ Talk

The Samek Art Museum will present its third and final Women's Work Lecture Series talk on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 6 p.m. at the Iron Front Cowork Space, 434 Market St #301 in downtown Lewisburg. Stephanie Larson, a classics and ancient Mediterranean studies professor at Bucknell, will provide a free, public talk on a women's work in ancient Greece.
