Oct. 25: Theatre Re Brings ‘The Nature of Forgetting’ to Weis Center

Theatre Re will take to the Bucknell Weis Center for the Performing Arts stage on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. for a performance of The Nature of Forgetting.

Through movement of great physicality and compelling live music, The Nature of Forgetting is the story of Tom, a middle-aged father struggling in the early stages of dementia. The piece and Tom’s memories are a life-affirming journey into a weakened mind, where broken does not have to mean defeated. Theatre Re’s productions examine the fragility of life in a captivating style that embraces mime, theatre and live music.

Tickets are $22 for adults, $18 for seniors 62 and older, $12 for youth, Bucknell employees, and retirees, and $10 for Bucknell students. They can be purchased at the Campus Box Office, or online here. There will be a free talk with the performers at 1 p.m., as well as a free health and wellness fair at 5 p.m., both in the Weis Center Atrium lobby.
