Nov. 2: Art Barn Festival and Open House Planned

The Department of Art and Art History at Bucknell will host its annual Art Barn Festival & Open House at the university’s Art Barn facility on Thursday, Nov. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. The free, public event will feature live music, refreshments, and student work from painting, photography, graphic design, sculpture, printmaking and art history. There will also be a variety of hands-on art activities including: a printmaking mini-workshop, an incredible photo booth for staging an epic Renaissance-inspired portrait with friends, a mask painting station, a hand-casting sculpture station, and a live digital drawing projection.

The Art Barn is located along Smoketown Road just south of the campus. Look for the signs and the silos. A shuttle service is provided and will loop between Vedder Circle and the Art Barn every 15 minutes. There is ample parking for visitors who drive to the Art Barn as well as a footpath from Bucknell’s campus (going under Rt. 15 near the fieldhouse).
