Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Ken Burns will speak at Bucknell University on Monday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Weis Center for the Performing Arts. Current Bucknell students, faculty and staff may receive up to two free tickets at the Weis Center box office between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the day of the event. A valid Bucknell University ID is required to receive advance tickets. Use of multiple Bucknell IDs to pick up additional sets of tickets is prohibited. Tickets will be available for the general public at the Weis Center box office beginning at 6 p.m. on the evening of the event. All individuals may receive up to two free tickets, depending on availability.

The Bucknell psychology department is hosting a talk by Jennifer Freyd -- a professor of psychology at the University of Oregon and noted researcher on Betrayal Trauma Theory (BTT) and campus-based sexual and gender-based violence -- on Monday, April 9 at 7 p.m. in the Forum Theatre, Elaine Langone Center (ELC 272). Her free, public talk is titled "Sexual Assault and Harassment: Moving from Institutional Betrayal to Institutional Courage."

The Bucknell University Department of Theatre and Dance present the final night performance of the student musical, "Crazy for You" -- a musical adventure filled with classic George Gershwin tunes -- tonight, April 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Harvey M. Powers Theatre. Tickets are $12, with a rate of $7 for students and senior citizens. There's also a group rate of $5 for groups that purchase 10 or more tickets online or at Weis Center box office.
