Bucknell University will host its annual Family Weekend Sept. 22-24, offering numerous activities for Bucknell students and their families. Events will focus on the academics, arts, athletics and student activities that Bucknell is known for. Programming begins Friday afternoon and runs through Sunday morning.
Activities that will be featured during the weekend include campus tours, an outdoor dinner on the football practice field Friday evening, President John Bravman’s annual speech to families, performances including theater, music and sketch comedy, an open house at the Bucknell Observatory, a golf tournament, a tailgate luncheon on Saturday prior to the football game against Sacred Heart University, a Sunday morning brunch and more.
The weekend also will celebrate the successful conclusion of the WE DO Campaign, which exceeded the goal of raising $500 million for the University. The historic milestone will be lauded with the WE DO Celebration on Saturday evening, which will feature live music, refreshments, fireworks and more.
