The Bolshevik Revolution Symposium — a two-day symposium to mark the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution, the coming to power of the Bolsheviks in Russia in October 1917 — will be held on Wednesday-Thursday, Nov. 1-2. There will be three public lectures, each with Q&A. The Nov. 1 lecture will take place at 7 p.m., with lectures on Nov. 2 scheduled for noon and 5 p.m.
The event is co-sponsored by the Office of the President, the Office of the Provost, Sociology/Anthropology, History, Political Science and the Comparative Humanities Program.
