The Samek Art Museum will kickoff its Women’s Work Lecture Series with Erica Delsandro, a women’s and gender studies professor at Bucknell, on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Iron Front Cowork Space in downtown Lewisburg. Delsandro will discuss Eurydice and Fred Hagerstrom’s “Fade” as part of her presentation.
The speakers of the lecture series will be examining stories from classical civilizations and the modern interpretation and inspiration by the book artists featured in Women’s Work. The lecture series is free and open to the public. A reception will follow each lecture in the Downtown Gallery, 416 Market Street, Lewisburg.
The next speakers in the series will present on Nov. 8 and Nov. 29 at the Iron Front Cowork space.
