Lewisburg Community Garden to Conduct Garden Walking Tour Fundraiser

LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Lewisburg Community Garden is hosting garden walking tours around Lewisburg as a fundraiser on Saturday June 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. Participants will meet at the Lewisburg Community Garden, Ogren Alley, Saturday at 1 p.m. and then tour a few backyard gardens and greenspaces in Lewisburg.

“Join us to learn from a handful of fabulous gardeners in our community, support the work of the Community Garden, and enjoy a beautiful walk,” says Theresa Dollar, garden coordinator

Participants will see a variety of gardening and landscaping approaches, from growing a vegetable garden to integrating native plants to your yard, and even adding art and sculpture.

Tickets and registration are required at this link.

The Lewisburg Community Garden is made possible by the generosity, time and resources of countless members, volunteers and community stakeholders. It is also made possible by a deep collaboration between the Borough of Lewisburg and Bucknell University. The Borough provides land and mowing and Bucknell provides staffing
