The Bucknell University Orchestra will present a free, public concert in the Weis Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 7:30 p.m.
Under the direction of music professor Christopher Para, the Bucknell Orchesta performs a repertoire ranging from the great orchestral classics to Broadway and film music. The orchesta is recognized throughout the region for its diverse, imaginative programs and quality performances. Concerts often feature soloists of international standing, such as British violinist Jill O’Brien of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the Fitzwilliam String Quartet, and Bucknell performance faculty.
