Bucknell’s Department of Art & Art History will host its annual Open House and Student Art Expo on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Guests are invited to watch demos, participate in hands-on activities, and enjoy free refreshments. The event begins at the Art Building where artwork from photo, design and drawing will be on display. The festivities then continue at the Art Barn from 6 to 7 p.m. where the painting, sculpture and printmaking areas are located. Guests may also graffiti an old truck for the upcoming Station 11 parade.
From 5 to 7 p.m., a shuttle service will drive guests from Vedder Circle to the Art Barn and back. Parking is also available at both locations. The Art Barn is located on Smoketown Road near the golf course. The Art Building is located at the corner of Walker Street and Loomis Street on the Bucknell campus.
