The China Institute at Bucknell continues to serve as the local partner for the free, public CHINA Town Hall for the Lewisburg community on Monday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. in the Elaine Langone Center’s Forum.
This year’s national program will begin at 6 and will feature a webcast discussion moderated by George Stephanopoulos of ABC News and joined by expert panelists Stephen Orlins of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, Melanie Hart of the Center for American Progress, Yasheng Huang of MIT’s Sloan School of Management, and Ely Ratner of the Center for a New American Security.
Following the national webcast, Bucknell political science and international relations professor Zhiqun Zhu will chair a town hall-style discussion for the Bucknell/Lewisburg community, and he will be joined by faculty panelists Song Chen, an East Asian Studies professor; and Carl Lin, an economics professor.
