The Bucknell Camerata will perform a free, public concert in the Weis Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m.
The Bucknell Camerata is the University’s select mixed choir, comprised of 16 to 24 voices, and representing nearly every major field of study at Bucknell. Founded in 2015, the Camerata specializes in the performance of early and contemporary repertoires, including world premieres and Baroque masterworks with orchestra, supplemented by a broad repertoire from the past seven centuries. A highlight of the Camerata’s season is its annual Bach@Bucknell festival, featuring collaborative performance with guest soloists and orchestra. Additional performance opportunities include the Rooke Chapel Candlelight Carols Services, and domestic and international touring.
