RBG, a documentary looking at the life and work of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, will be shown on Friday, Aug. 24 at 8 p.m. in the Campus Theatre, 413 Market St., Lewisburg.
At the age of 85, Ginsburg has developed a lengthy legal legacy while becoming an unexpected pop culture icon. The film documents her unique personal journey, from her career path to the nation’s highest court to her rise as a pop culture icon. It will unveil new information on Ginsburg’s powerful life.
The event is co-sponsored by CommUnity Zone and the ACLU of Pennsylvania Central Susquehanna chapter. D. Toni Byrd, an assistant federal public defender from Williamsport, Pa., will provide brief remarks prior to the film’s screening. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.
